A blog of my own, finally!

After learning about blogs and thinking about creating a blog, I have finally done it.
It has been in the back of my mind for some time. Tonight I decided - no more thinking about it- just dive in- and here I am.

I have been keeping journals since I was 10 years old, yes, I still have my journal from when I was ten. I still keep hand written journals. I am a writer in spirit and am now pursuing it more actively, after a detour working in another field for the past 17 years . I bought a lap top a few years ago, and I began to journal electronically as well as in my spiral bound notebooks- won't give those up. And so now, 30 years after writing in my first journal, I am progressing with technology and creating a blog. Yes, you can call me slow to move with technology. For me, it seams backwards that I am just now creating my own blog site because I have created two websites, one active and one not. I am on many Ning networks, including my own and facebook too.

I have blogged in other places but decided I want my own blog site. I decided that using blogger would be a quick and simple way to jump in and do it. I usually think through things like this and research and take time making my decision. This time I decided there is no better time than now! And so as quickly as I typed this post, I created a blog.
